Behind the lens
I photograph by instinct and curiosity. I move between concert stages, city streets and the landscapes I meet on the road, each time looking for the same thing: the light at the right moment.
I don't have a style to impose, I have a way of looking. I like to wait: for the spotlight to isolate the guitarist in the smoke, for someone to step into the frame in front of a doorway, for the sun to drop just enough to set a lake on fire. To me, photography is mostly patience and timing.
Black and white for the street and the stage, full colour for the sea and the mountains. From live concerts to the alleys of Milan, from Genoa and Perugia to the Côte d'Azur and the waterfalls of the Alps: every project is a page of the same visual diary.

Light
Natural or stage light, light is the real subject: I study its direction and learn to wait for it, from golden hour to the spotlights of a gig.

Lines, thresholds and geometries: I look for order within the chaos of a street or a stage, even just for the fraction of a second of the shot.

More than single images, I build small diaries by theme — concerts, travels, landscapes — where each frame is a line of the same story.
